Upon your arrival in Lilongwe, you'll be met and transferred to the Heuglin's Lodge in the northern part of the city.

The rest of the day will be yours to explore this young capital city and its bustling old town market, or simply relax in the garden.

This morning you'll drive to the family friendly Mvuu Camp in the Liwonde National Park in the southern part of the country.

During the next 3 days embark on a variety of game activities allowing your family the chance to explore the park searching for wildlife. The park has an abundant number of elephant and hippo that you can see on guided walks, game drives, or for a different perspective boating safari trips.

The lodge offers evening cruises on the Shire River so you can enjoy a spectacular African sunset.

Today you will make your way north to the shores of the famous Lake Malawi and the Danforth Lodge. This owner-run lodge offers a wide arrange of activities for your family to enjoy for the 5 days you are there.

Lake Malawi with its crystal clear waters is perfect for snorkeling and diving, while the lack of currents make sailing and sea-kayaking an excellent way to explore the shoreline.

Additionally, the lodge offers several land-based activities as well such as mountain biking, nature walks, and visits to the local villages.
