Arrive at Lilongwe International Airport, where you will be met by your guide, who will transfer you to Mvuu Camp (4-5 hours).

Spend your days enjoying all that Mvuu Camp has to offer. Liwonde is renowned for being a prime game & birding location with a range of habitats including marshes, open savanna, woodlands and hills.

Spend ample time on boat safari's on the Shire River, game drives (morning, afternoon, and evening) and nature walks where you will be able to see fantastic game such as elephant, sable antelope, hippo, impala and waterbuck.

Unwind at Mvuu Camp after a day of excitement in the raised dining room with spectacular view over the river, or just spend your time in thr refreshing swimming pool.

After a delicious breakfast, you will be transferred to the Kayak Africa Base Camp (2-3 hours), where you will be given kayaking instructions.

You then have the option to kayak to the island (with a guide) or be transferred by boat to Mumbo Island Lodge on Mumbo Island, a private concession that forms part of the Lake Malawi National Park.

Spend your time on this beautiful tropical island with its aquamarine waters, perfect for activities like snorkelling, scuba-diving or more kayaking. You may even be joined by a spotted-neck otter while you're in the water.

Retreat to you peaceful chalet, sitting on high rocks allowing you spectacular views of paradise.
