Rumphi

Rumphi is the last small town before the dirt road to the Vwaza Marsh Game Reserve and Nyika National Park. This is the place to fill up with petrol and do the last bit of shopping at the market before hitting the road for the camps. Be aware that the road is extremely bumpy and dusty, but the drive is beautiful and interesting with small tobacco farms and subsistence villages along the way.
