The best place for kite surfing in Mauritius is in the south-west corner of the island near the distinctive Le Morne peninsula where the favourable south-easterly trade winds make for great kite surfing all year-round.

The best time to visit Mauritius for kite surfing is between June and November and although the wind is a little more uncertain, December and January are also great kite surfing months.
