General Restrictions

The following details relate to holders of adult normal passports (requirements for children may be different), if any other type of passport or travel document is held, entry requirements should be checked with the relevant embassy or consulate

Special Notes

Visitors must hold confirmed booking for accomodation in Mauritius, return or onward tickets, all documents required for their next destination and sufficient funds for maintenance during their stay.

Passports must be valid for 6 months from date of arrival

Visa General

The following DO NOT require a visa:

1) Nationals of Mauritius

2) For tourist stays up to 60 days by:

a) Nationals of Antigua & Barbuda, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Bahrain, Barbados, Belgium, Belize, Botswana, Bulgaria, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Rep, Denmark, Dominica, Estonia, Finland, France, Gambia, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Grenada, Guyana, Hong Kong (SAR passport), Hungary, Ireland Rep, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Kenya, Kiribati, Kuwait, Latvia, Lesotho, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Monaco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Papua New Guinea, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Samoa, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Portugal, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Spain, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Swaziland, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania, Tonga, Trinidad & Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, Tuvalu, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, United States, Vanuatu, Vatican City, Zambia & Zimbabwe

1) Persons continuing their journey to a third country within 24 hours holding a confirmed onward ticket, documents for next destination and sufficient funds
