The route of this exploration takes the time to explore the changing areas, stunning beauty and continually moving game of northern Botswana. While staying in spacious mobile tents, you will engage in various activities including nature walks, game drives and mokoro trips.
The safari also provides the unique opportunity to experience the amazing annual zebra migration between the months of December and May.
- Day 1: Meet the Mighty Zambezi

Arrive in Livingstone, where a representative will transfer you to the Victoria Falls. Here you will enjoy a guided tour of the falls.
Transfer to the Shackletons Upper Zambezi Lodge situated in the south-west of Zambia. Experience 130km of the Upper Zambezi known as "God's Highway'. Enjoy bird watching, fishing or visit Mwandi village for an opportunity to learn more about the local culture.
Take in the stunning views of the mighty Zambezi from your private deck, cool off in the swimming pool or enjoy a drink on the sundowner deck.
- Day 2: Cross the Border into Botswana

After breakfast, you leave Zambia and enter the Chobe National Park in Botswana by way of the Kazungula border - a point where Botswana, Zambia, Namibia and Zimbabwe meet.
There are plenty of opportunities to spot the vast herds of elephant and unique antelope that this park is famous for. Board a catamaran-style boat and enjoy a light lunch while cruising along.
Depart by aircraft to the Linyanti region, from where you will be taken to the Linyanti Adventurer Camp.
- Day 3-4: Explore Linyanti
- Day 5-7: Camping in the Lechwe Island Camp

Aftera long but interesting drive through the Chobe National Park you arrive at the Lechwe Island Camp in the north-eastern Okavango Delta. The tented campsite is situated on a wooden island overlooking a floodplain area, which might be dry or flooded depending on the season.
The activities are centered around the bushy and wooded islands, the open plains and the seasonally flooded channels the area has to offer. Expect exciting day and night drives as well as nature walks introducing you to smaller species.
- Day 8-9: Experience the Xigera Mokoro Trails

With its serene waters flowing through the innumerable channels, Xigera is the ultimate Delta experience.
You will camp out on a small island in a tent with gauze main frames to enhance the spectacular views around you.
Get ready to explore the area in mokoros (dug out canoes pushed along with a pole), as well as walking safaris. Learn more about the birdlife, frogs and the vast variety of game species in the area.
