You depart from Johannesburg and travel through the Mpumalanga Province to Swaziland. After crossing the border, enter Hlane Royal National Park.

The next 2 days will be spent game-viewing and exploring Swaziland's largest protected area and is home to lion, elephant and white rhino.

On your last night there, there will be a display of traditional Swazi dancing following dinner.

As lions are housed in a fenced enclosure, it is possible to hike inside the park. Other optional activities include; game drives, lion tour and mountain-biking.

After crossing into Mozambique, you travel north through beautiful coastal scenery before arriving in Praia Do Tofo, where you will spend the next 2 nights.

In season, this area is one of the world's best sites for viewing the world's largest fish, the whale shark.

Spend your time here relaxing on the white sandy beaches or swimming in the warm Indian Ocean waters.

Optional activities include snorkelling and scuba-diving in some of Africa's most amazing dive sites as well as surfing, kayaking and fishing.

Leave Praia Do Tofo and venture towards the Bazaruto Archipelago, where you will first stop off in Vilanculos and spend the night. Vilanculos is the main gateway to the Archipelago.

On the way to Vilanculos you will be stopping at a local craft market for a little souvenir shopping.

The sea-life in this area is spectatcular, and you can enjoy snorkelling as an optional extra, as well as horse-riding and parasailing.

The Bazaruto excursion is taken on a traditional sailing vessel, the dhow. Sail out to the islands and have the opportunity to snorkel, swim and relax on the beach over the next 2 days.

The Bazaruto Archipelago is one of Africa's largest marine parks, with spectacular sea-life and beautiful reefs.

On rare occasions the weather may be unfavourable, and in this case the dhow will be replaced with a more conventional boat.

Leave the beautiful Bazaruto Archipelago and travel through the coconut plantations to the old Portugese settlement of Inhambane.

This coastal region is very relaxing and boasts incredible beaches.

Enjoy an abundance of optional activities, including: Scuba-diving, horse-riding, quad-biking, snorkelling, fishing and a boat cruise.

Return south to Mozambique's capital, Maputo, where you'll enjoy a city tour in a Nomad truck, including the Fort of Nossa, Senhora da Conceiao, and the Central Raliway Station.

You return to South Africa to the world-famous Kruger National Park, where you will have the possiblity of spotting the Big 5.

Kruger Park is one of the most famous nature conservation areas in the world. 2 nights will be spent in this magnificent area enjoying African wildlife.

Informative dawn game walks and night drives are offered as an optional extra.

You move to the greater Kruger area today and visit Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, where animals are being re-educated before being released back into the wild.

In the evening, enjoy a traditional song and dance evening with a typical South African meal.

Early in the morning enjoy a walk with a local expert in the Timbavati wildlife area bordering the Kruger National Park, for a unique opportunity to see the animals up-close.

Travelling along the beautiful Panorama Route on the way back to Johannesburg, you'll stop off at Blyde River Canyon and Bourke's Luck Potholes; impressive rock formations resulting from erosive river action.

The tour ends on arrival in Johannesburg.
