Banhine National Park is near Inhambane in Mozambique. It is known for its wetlands, and used to contain some notable herbivores, such as buffalo, sable, tsetsebe, hartebeest, zebra and wildbeest.

Sadly, Mozambique's protracted civil war all but decimated its wildlife population. Banhine retains populations of ostrich, kudu and impala, among others, as well as the increasingly rare oribi antelope.

Plans are afoot to incorporate Banhine into the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park.
