Set among groves of coconut trees, Barra Lodge is a standard 2-star lodge which is surrounded by secluded, unspoilt beaches, and bordered by the Inhambane estuary on one side and the sea on the other. Endless white sands, coral reefs, mangrove swamps and more are all brought together by the crystal-clear waters of the ever warm Indian Ocean.

Barra Lodge has its own restaurant, located right on the beach, which specializes in seafood. You can relax to the sight and sound of waves gently breaking on the shore, as you indulge your taste buds in a menu dominated by prawns, calamari and fresh line fish - the ever popular favourites.

The rooms at Barra Lodge are situated close to the beach, and most have sea views.

Traditional casitas, made of thatch, brick and reeds; have two beds, and an en suite bathroom with a shower. The family rooms have two extra beds for children under the age of 12.

There are also self-catering cottages. Each cottage has 2 bedrooms, a lounge-come-dining room area, kitchen, shower and separate toilet. There are 6 comfortable single beds. All the basic amenities are supplied including a fridge, 2-plate gas stove, cutlery and crockery, and the cottages are serviced daily.
