The Bazaruto Archipelago has a tropical climate, so lightweight cotton clothing is suitable throughout the year - the 'dress code' on the Bazaruto islands is generally casual and comfortable beachwear.

Don't forget to pack your swimming costume; a sarong is extremely useful; and be sure to take plenty of sunscreen and lip balm - you wouldn't want to get sunburnt on the first day of your tropical island holiday.

Your Bazaruto accommodation will have snorkelling gear, although some people prefer to bring your own. Also, underwater casing for your digital camera is a great option, for capturing those coral reefs and colourful fish.

We'd recommend packing mosquito repellent (although once again your lodge is sure to have some), and don't forget all personal medication including malaria prophylactics.
