Castelo do Mar can be found on the tip of the northern peninsula on the Bay of Inhambane, called Linga Linga. This remote villa, overlooking the bay, has been restored and furnished with local woods and imported fabrics and linen.

Relax on the beach or enjoy the many activities offered by the lodge, including scuba-diving, snorkelling and game fishing.

Surrounding the villa are coconut forests, as well as mangrove swamps that can be explored on a small motorised boat or on a traditional dhow. During low tide, you can also take a relaxing walk through the coconut forests.

Castelo do Mar feels strongly about conservation and makes a conscious effort to minimise their impact on the environment by stopping illegal fishing as well as prohibiting vehicles from being driven on the beach.
