Due to their location off Mozambique's far north coast, the Quirimbas Archipelago used to be thought of as a fairly inaccessible holiday destination. This is no longer the case.

There are five direct flights a week from Johannesburg (South Africa) to Pemba International airport in Mozambique - on either Mozambique Airlines (LAM) or South African Airways.

Flights generally land in Pemba around lunch, leaving more than enough time to catch a light aircraft or helicopter directly to the island of your choice.
