Accommodation in Namibia is easy: from the most glittering of luxury lodges to friendly, family-run guesthouses and remote bush camps there's something to suit your taste and your budget.
We can make it easier: let us help you plan your Namibia accommodation - many of the most exciting lodges and camps are small, lie in remote areas and place an emphasis on creating a personal and intimate experience: availability is at a premium, and careful co-ordination is advisable.
They offer all manner of activities from game drives to star gazing, bush walks to quad biking - something for all ages and interests, and indeed there's specifically family-friendly accommodation for the adventurous family - have a look at our Namibia Family Holidays for more information.
Our Namibia accommodation isn't just about somewhere to sleep however: many of the lodges we recommend are tucked away on private reserves or in fabulous locations - perfect locations for a heart-melting, romantic Namibia honeymoon.
On an ecological note, many of Namibia's lodges are acutely aware of the environmental fragility of their locations, and implement policies of responsible and sustainable tourism to minimise their environmental impact.
Onguma Luxury Tented Camp - This generous slice of luxury Namibia accommodation is located on a private reserve adjoining the game-packed Etosha National Park. Onguma means 'the place you don't want to leave' in Herero, and with a choice of game drives either in its private reserve or neighbouring Etosha, it's easy to see why. A great destination for black rhino and bird watching, there's also a floodlit waterhole for you to spot all those interesting nocturnal animals.
Kulala Desert Lodge - Located in the heart of the Namib Desert and close to the fabled Sossusvlei, this stunning lodge offers an unforgettable desert experience. Try a sleep-out under the night sky or a dawn hot air balloon safari - and there's game viewing too.
Erongo Wilderness Lodge - Tucked away in a range of dramatic mountains in central-north Namibia, Erongo offers guests a slice of wild, tangled game-rich wilderness to explore on foot, quad bike or 4X4. It's a top bird watching area that also boasts Bushman rock art and is nicely positioned between Windhoek, Swakopmund and Etosha National Park.
Mowani Mountain Camp - Sumptuous accommodation, pin-dropping silences and eye-popping scenery are some of the things you can expect at Mowani, located in Damaraland's fragile mountainous environment. It's a great place from which to search for the ever-elusive desert elephants as well as marvelling at some of the best rock art in southern Africa. The emphasis here is on creating a magical atmosphere of beauty and serenity.
Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge - A luxurious camp located on a private reserve close to the haunting dunes of Sossusvlei, this is Namibian safari accommodation at its best: game drives, quad biking and walking trails combine to give you the complete Namib Desert experience - and that's before you check out the flawless night sky through the lodge's powerful telescope.
