Starting in Windhoek, you visit the Namib Naukluft National Park and Sossusvlei Dunes, and then go flamingo watching in Walvis Bay, followed by a guided tour of the Bushman's rock art in Twyfelfontein, a visit to Sesfontein, a Himba experience in Otjitowarongo, a visit to the Cheetah Sanctuary, 3 game drives in Etosha National Park, a visit to Grootfontein and Waterberg Plateau National Park, and finally ending in Windhoek again.

You have the day at leisure to enjoy all there is to offer in Windhoek. You should meet at 18h30 pm at Arebbusch Travel Lodge for the pre-departure meeting.

- Days 2 - 3: Namib Naukluft National Park (400 km)
- Itinerary
You depart Windhoek for your first day on the road heading to the fabulous Namib Naukluft National Park and the giant sand dunes of Sossusvlei. This is one of the world's oldest deserts, offering over 130 million years of natural wonder. Adventure activities abound, including hot-air ballooning and light aircraft flights.
On day 3 you head for Dune 45 and climb it for stunning aerial views, after which you proceed to Sossusvlei. A 5 km walk takes you to the vlei, where you are free to explore. There is also the option of a guided walk (own expense). This area lends itself to stunning photographic opportunities. On your return to the lodge, you stop off at the Sesriem Canyon.

- Days 4 - 5: Swakopmund (351 km)
- Itinerary
You depart Sossusvlei for Swakopmund via Walvis Bay, where you have the opportunity to do some flamingo watching (seasonal) before continuing to Swakopmund.
Swakopmund is a delightful Bavarian-style town, situated snugly between sea and desert. Great beaches, deep-sea fishing, quad biking, dune boarding plus an array of shops, bars and restaurants are all on offer. In Swakopmund you are free to explore at your leisure or partake in the many optional activities. This is also a chance to catch up with laundry, banks and communications.

Lunch is at your account on Day 5.
- Day 6: Khorixas (396 km)
- Itinerary
Your journey takes you to Khorixas via Twyfelfontein. Upon arrival in Twyfelfontein you go on a guided tour of the rock engravings, the largest collection of Bushman rock art in Africa (the tour lasts approximately 2 hrs).

- Days 7 - 8: Sesfontein (281 km)
- Itinerary
You depart northwards to Sesfontein in the Kaokoveld area, where you travel through beautiful scenery - keep a look out for the desert elephants. In Sesfontein you have the opportunity to meet the local Himba people.

- Day 9: Otjitowarongo (453 km)
- Itinerary
You depart for the cheetah sanctuary near Kamanjab, where you can see the fastest land mammal on earth. Here you have the chance to touch and interact with 2 adult cheetah, and can also watch others being fed in the afternoon.

- Days 10 - 11: Etosha National Park (306 km)
- Itinerary
Today you arrive at the world-famous Etosha National Park, ready for your big game safari experience. Dominated by shimmering white saltpans, you have a chance to see elephant as well as black rhino, lion and leopard.
Most camps have floodlit waterholes, which are excellent for after dinner game viewing, as well as swimming pools for cooling off during the heat of the day. You go on 3 game drives whilst at Etosha. Typically you make an early start, which is ideal for game viewing, and drive to some of the waterholes before brunch. The afternoon brings another game drive, returning to camp before dark for dinner.

- Days 12 - 13: Grootfontein (180 km)
- Itinerary
You depart for the San Bushman Village near Grootfontein, where you have the opportunity to meet some Bushmen and learn a bit about their culture.
At Roy's Rest Camp there is a bar, restaurant, swimming pool and a curio shop. You can also go on optional game drives and walking trails.

Dinner will be at your own account on Day 13.
- Day 14: Waterberg (250 km)
- Itinerary
You leave Grootfontein, bound for the stunning Waterberg Plateau National Park. Historically significant because it was the site of the war between the Germans and the Hereros, the area has now become a haven for many endangered species. The park is renowned for its incredible rock formations and walks.
Your time in the Waterberg is your own and you are free to walk in the park at your leisure. Optional game drives and guided walks are available.
