Halali Resort

Comfortable resort camp with chalets and a floodlit waterhole, right in the centre of Etosha National Park.

  • Central Location - right in the middle of Etosha, so you can set off in different directions each day.

  • Floodlight Waterhole - spend evenings watching big game gather at the floodlit waterhole.

  • Good Facilities - the camp has a refreshing swimming pool, as well as a restaurant and bar.

Halali is strategically located right in the middle of Etosha National Park, halfway between Okaukuejo and Namutoni camps, and is surrounded by some of the most popular waterholes in the park.

Every day you can set off in a different direction, and explore another region of Etosha - Namibia's largest national park.

Back at Halali, an elevated vantage point overlooks a floodlit waterhole, giving you the chance to get really close to big game including elephant and rhino which frequently gather there to drink. The Halali waterhole is also known for the highest number of leopard sightings of all the Etosha camps.

Another great activity on the camp grounds is a walking trail which winds its way through the shady Mopane trees which dot the area, ending on a dolomite hill overlooking Halali and the surrounding reserve. Or if that all sounds a bit energetic; take a good book and relax by the swimming pool.

Location

Halali is located halfway between Namutoni and Okaukuejo camps (about 70km either way) in Etosha National Park, Namibia.
