Desert Camp is a wonderful self-catering accommodation located on the Taleni Africa Private Reserve, just a few kilometres from Namib-Naukluft Park and the famous and spectacular Sossusvlei Dunes.

Taleni Africa is a 40 00 hectare private reserve and is home to a variety of wildlife and a spectacular desert landscape. Follow the walking trail through the reserve or visit the neighbouring Sossusvlei Lodge Adventure Centre. It provides various planned activities of discovery into the Sossusvlei area while at the same time understanding the needs of those wanting an independant and private style of travel.

Experience the desert beauty from a bird's eye view in a hot air balloon or by aircraft. Embark on a guided drive in a comfortable all-terrain vehicle through the reserve. You can also enjoy an exhilarating guided quad bike excursion on specially laid out trails and really get close to nature.

Desert Camp is located in the Taleni Africa Private Reserve in Namibia's Sesriem Area, on the outskirts of the Namib-Naukluft Park.

Make delicious meals in your own kitchenette from starter packs that can be bought from Desert Camp. They consist of meat, vegetables, salads, bread, condiments, cheese and beverages.

Alternatively, head down to neighbouring Sossusvlei Lodge for sumptuous buffet meals al fresco style.

For those travelling in groups, the commmunal bomas provide an ideal cosy area for everyone to get together for a barbeque or just to socialise.

A full selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available at the camp's fully-serviced bar.

Desert Camp's comfortable accommodation comprises of 20 self-catering units each with en-suite bathroom, twin beds, fold-out sleeper couch for children and shaded verandah with kitchenette.

The kitchenette and barbeque area is located outside under the shaded patio so you can enjoy the breath-taking surroundings even while preparing delicious meals or making a cup of tea.
