Mushara Outpost is the latest addition to Mushara's collection of fine accommodation in the Namibian landscape.

Found only 10km from the world famous Etosha National Park, it accommodates up to sixteen guests in eight custom-designed tent-like structures, constructed amongst trees on the western bank of a dry river bed.

Each tent is built on a wooden deck, set a metre and a half above the ground, offering stunning views of the rugged Savanna.

A refreshing plunge pool offers welcome relief after an exciting visit to the arid Etosha National Park, and the Mushara Outpost's location makes it the ideal place to go out exploring or just relax and unwind.

The Mushara Outpost is renowned for its fine dining.

The lodge house is styled on an old farm house, with high walls, a corrugated iron roof and wraparound veranda. Breakfast and lunch are taken at the lodge, while dinner is enjoyed under the clear African night sky.

At Mushara the emphasis is on innovative dining, with breakfast the only meal served buffet style. All other meals are on a set-menu basis, accompanied by a selection of quality South African wines.

Accommodation at the Mushara Outpost is in the form of eight custom-designed tent-like structures, each with space for two.

Built on wooden decks, set a metre and a half above the ground, the tents offer a unique perspective on the surrounding wilderness.

Large glass windows run from ceiling to floor, allowing for maximum air movement during the night, and air conditioning keeps things comfortable on even the hottest of afternoons.

The open-plan bathroom has an enclosed toilet, and you can even do some stargazing while you shower.

The furnishing of the tents is simple, clean and comfortable.
