The luxurious lodge is a good base from which to explore Namibia's premier wildlife park, Etosha. Large herds of plains' game concentrate around the Etosha's waterholes in the dry season making for exciting game viewing. Game drives offer you the opportunity to see elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, springbok and a variety of other deer. Birdlife is also good with ostrich and raptors in abundance.
You also have the opportunity to enjoy night drives and nature walks on the private reserve, these activities are not allowed within Etosha itself. Ongava also offers you the chance of seeing both Black and White Rhino.
