Ongava Game Reserve is located in a 30 000-hectare private reserve along the boundary of Etosha National Park.

The reserve has 2 safari camps including Ongava Tented Camp, which is situated towards the centre of the reserve, at the base of the foothills of the Ondundozonanandana Range.

Activities include game drives into the Okaukuejo area of Etosha where lion, elephant, cheetah, gemsbok, springbok, and hartebeest can be seen at many of the waterholes in Namibia's premier wildlife park.

Birdlife is also good with ostrich and raptors in abundance. You can experience the thrill of night drives and nature walks on the private reserve, which are activities not allowed within Etosha itself.

The bar and dining area is built out of rock and thatch and has an intimate atmosphere. Drinks and dinner can be enjoyed around the open air fire place or alongside the swimming pool, both of which overlook a floodlit waterhole in front of the camp.

Ongava Tented Camp is situated on a private game reserve on the southern boundary of Etosha National Park, in Namibia.

A variety of dishes can be enjoyed under the stars overlooking the waterhole or in the thatched dining room.

Accommodation at Ongava Tented Camp comprises 8 comfortable walk-in tents. Each classic East African or Meru tent has double doors to maximise your view of the bush and waterhole in front of the camp.

Every tent has been tastefully furnished with its own en-suite thatched bathroom, which includes a flush toilet and open air private shower.

As the day draws to an end you can watch the sunset from the comfort of your private covered veranda.
