Onguma Bush Camp is a small, intimate lodge, set within Onguma Game Reserve, a short drive from Etosha National Park.

You can go for game drives within the 20,000 hectare Onguma Reserve, which is home to plains game including kudu, giraffe, eland, oryx, hartebeest, zebra and impala, as well as predators such as lion, cheetah and leopard.

However, most visitors opt for the short drive into Etosha, Namibia's largest national park, which is known for abundant wildlife and great photographic opportunities - particularly at the various waterholes which dot the park.

Onguma Bush Camp has well-maintained grounds, and a swimming pool - great for refreshing dips between game drives. Above the restaurant is a game viewing platform with comfortable sofas and chairs where you can easily spend an afternoon or evening looking out across Onguma's floodlit waterhole.

Families are welcome at Bush Camp. The camp is fenced, and there are two family bungalows. What's more, many visitors to Onguma comment on the friendly, accommodating service, so you know your family will be well looked after.

Onguma Bush Camp is set in Onguma Game Reserve, which is situated on the eastern side of Etosha National Park, bordering Fisher's Pan.

Dinner at Onguma Bush Camp is served in an open lapa area around a bonfire, under the stars.

The rooms are all decorated in earth tones and are equipped with both air con and a ceiling fan - to keep the Namibian heat at bay.
