Transfer from Windhoek along rugged scenery to Swakopmund, an idyllic town wedged between the Atlantic Ocean and the sand dunes of the Namib Desert.

Your hotel is situated close to the beach and has a sheltered swimming pool area, located right next to a play park.

Other fun activities include marine cruises (accompanied by seals, sea birds and dolphins), camel rides, quad-biking and sand-boarding.

Your journey continues north along the Atlantic Ocean to Southern Africa's largest seal colony at Cape Cross, where thousands of seals frolic in the crashing waves.

Afterwards, travel to your lodge situated in close vicinity of the Twyfelfontein World Heritage site. Relax at the pool adorned with a stunning waterfall, or travel the short distance to a ground dam, where seasonally the desert elephants can be seen. On an optional nature drive you also have the opportunity to track these remarkable desert giants.

After breakfast, travel to Twyfelfontein, a National Heritage site that boasts the largest open-air rock art gallery in Southern Africa. You have wonderful opportunities to view some of the mysterious paintings and engravings on a guided walk.

At your lodge enjoy interaction with a local himba village on the property. There is also a play park nearby for the children to enjoy.

This morning you travel to the Etosha National Park, where your accommodation is situated within the park along a flood-lit waterhole that promises you and the children outstanding game viewing possibilities at night.

In the early afternoon embark on your first game drive in the western part of the park. Shortly before sunset you travel back to your camp, and after dinner have the opportunity to spot wildlife around the waterhole.

This morning you proceed into the northern part of the Etosha Park. During your adventure, you have the possibility of spotting 114 different animal species that live in this park.

During the hottest part of the day you can stop over at one of the three resorts to enjoy lunch, and before sunset you travel to your lodge. This lodge is specially adapted for children and will promise your family two unforgettable and fun filled days.

The next day, enter the park again for a fun-filled and enlightening game drive led by a an experienced and knowledgeable guide. Upon return to your lodge relax by the pool while the children are entertained by the child minders with different games and activities.

After breakfast travel south to your next accommodation, situated in one of Namibia's best farming areas. Here you and your family can participate in horse trails, volleyball games, nature drives or scenic walks, while the huge lawn and sparkling pool serves as an excellent hang out during the heat of the day.

The next day can be enjoyed at your leisure. Attractions that are found close to your lodge include a crocodile farm in Otjiwarongo or the Cheetah Conservation Fund, which tirelessly promotes the survival of this endangered cat and also offers special educational programs for children.

After a relaxed breakfast, you travel south to Windhoek via Okahandja, where you can visit the large craft markets that line the streets. Continue to Windhoek where your Namibian family adventure comes to an end.
