Moon Mountain Lodge is situated in the strikingly beautiful Namib Naukluft Nature Reserve in southern Namibia, and is close to the world renowned dunes of Sossusvlei.

Enjoying spectacular views of purple coloured mountains and towering dunes, Moon Mountain Lodge is both a desert retreat and an adventure playground. 4x4 dune and game drives are offered, as are mountain trails, hot air ballooning and scenic flights.

Sossusvlei itself is not to be missed, as it's home to the highest sands dunes in the world. If you are staying at Moon Mountain, you can also enjoy a day trip out to the Sesriem Canyon.

The lodge has luxurious tented suites, set on raised stilts and enjoying beautiful views of the reserve. There is also a small cinema, relaxed restaurant and bar area at Moon Mountain - ensuring your relaxation and recreation.

Traditional cuisine is served from Nebula Restaurant, offering seating for 46 people. Pre and after-dinner drinks can be enjoyed from the Cosmos Bar and enjoyed on the adjoining sun deck, which enjoys lovely views of the landscape.

At night the same deck provides a sensational view of the stars and the petrified dunes of the Namib Desert.

Moon Mountain Lodge has 11 luxury tented rooms, 6 suites and 4 standard rooms.

The luxury tented rooms have their own en-suite bathroom with shower, as well as a private deck with a splash pool. The suites also have their own bathrooms, deck and splash pool, but also have their own lounge. The standard rooms are ideal for older children, with an en suite toilet and shower.
