Flagship safari camp in remote Skeleton Coast Park, Namibia.
Unique Location - Skeleton Coast has a wild, desolate, uninhabited and truly unique beauty.
Nature Activities - this vast area allows for full-day excursions to a variety of locations.
Outdoor Dining - have a picnic lunch in a remote location and dinner under the stars.
Skeleton Coast Camp hosts a variety of scenery and vegetation, with vast sand dunes, mountains, seal colonies and shipwrecks. Springs create habitats where you can see different types of buck, ostrich, and sometimes lion and cheetah.
The camp is built on wooden decks with the central lounge, bar and dining area offering views of the surrounding desert. An outside eating area is positioned under a gnarled Leadwood tree, which shelters you from the elements and allows you to enjoy the fresh air.
Because of the sheer vastness of the area, the offered excursions at Skeleton Coast Camp usually comprise full-day nature drives or walks, where you'll eat a picnic lunch at a scenic destination and continue your trip into the afternoon.
There are unique and interesting places you may like to visit such as the castles of the Hoarusib River and Rocky Point. Alternatively, visit the seal colonies or one of the Himba villages, home to some of the last nomadic people.
The Skeleton Coast Camp is situated on the Khumib River within the Skeleton Coast Park in Namibia.
