Rwanda's three parks are located in different regions and subsequently offer a different wildlife experience.

Head for the eastern Akagera National Park for a taste of East African tropical savannah or try the dense montane rainforest at the Nyungwe Forest National Park.

The piece de resistance is, of course, the Volcanoes National Park - Rwanda's part of the volcanic Virungas range and home to 300 mountain gorillas - and naturally the epicentre for all Rwanda Gorilla Tours.
