In a perfect world, you could spend a week on each Seychelles island getting to know every granitic nook and coralline cranny. Living aboard a catamaran you would leisurely explore the Outer islands and spend time studying the unique fauna and flora of the Seychelles.

The Seychellois have found an effective compromise for the time pressured traveller. There are a number of day trips aimed at taking travellers on a journey of island discovery.

Visit the quaint island of La Digue and spend the day exploring on bicycles, visit the enchanting Vallei de Mai on Praslin, a tropical palm forest that preserves an early and less evolved stage of the world's flora.

A more relaxing option would be to charter a catamaran from Mahé and explore nearby islands or simply enjoy a cocktail fuelled sunset cruise.
