Scuba diving in the Seychelles is remarkably spectacular and diverse, and is often recognized as some of the best in the world.
The inner islands are the tropical remains of a submerged mountain range. Off the inner islands coasts life under the sea mimics the world above. An abundant and diverse marine life is set colourfully against large submerged boulders and crevices.
The outer islands are more remote and provide excellent dive spots for the more advanced diver. Experienced divers can boldly go where few people have been before.
There are PADI dive centres throughout the islands and at most of the hotels, providing guidance for both experienced and novice divers.
If you prefer not to don all the scuba paraphernalia, the snorkelling, even close to shore, is excellent and you can expect to see some colourful sea life.
