Hiking in the Seychelles

The interiors of Seychelles islands are often mountainous and densely covered in forests and vegetation. Mahé and Praslin in particular provide some beautiful walks in exotic environments.

Try hiking the highest peak in the Seychelles in Morne Seychellois National Park on Mahé island, or explore the beautiful Vallei de Mai on Praslin; this utopian forest is home to the erotic Coco de Mer - also known as the lovenut.

The smaller, private islands often have pleasant nature walks through their interiors.
