At O.R. Tambo International Airport you board your flight to Hoedspruit. On arrival at Hoedsprut Airport you will be able to collect your Group B hire car (Toyota Corolla or similar) where you will drive to your accommodation, Honeyguide Khoka Moya Safari lodge. Honeyguide Khoka Moya Camp is situated on the border of the Kruger National Park in the Manyeleti Game Reserve. With a maximum of only 20 guests, the staff at Khoka Moya camp cater for your every need and there is a children's program which includes an activity centre, supervised by the camp staff, where children can engage in a variety of activities such as beadwork, cookie making, drawing and reading.

At Honeyguide your accommodation is a luxury tent and is full board, including local beverages and safari activities.

Children are welcome to share a tent with parents.

The exclusive accommodation at Honeyguide offers the nature lover a close encounter with the sounds and ambience of wild Africa without sacrificing safety or comfort. You will awake to a crackling dawn fire before the 1st game viewing of the day and your chance to see the Big 5. Warmed by a hot morning drink, rangers will take you on an adventure into the bush on foot or in customised viewing vehicles. As the day heightens, you leave the bush and return to camp for mid-morning brunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool or view passing game from the hide at the nearby waterhole. As sunset approaches you will venture into the African bush again for an evening's game viewing before being treated to a gourmet dinner and stories round the campfire.

The communal lounge, dining and bar area encircles an open atrium where al fresco evening meals are served around a massive log fire. The climate-controlled wine cellar offers many fine South African vintages to meet your personal tastes.

Childrens activities:

The children's program includes an activity centre, supervised by the camp staff where children can engage in a variety of activities such as beadwork making, cookie making, drawing and reading. The centre is stocked with a DVD player and a variety of animal and nature related movies, toys as well as a small library aimed at a younger readership. The centre also has bathing and nappy changing facilities.

The Khoka Moya swimming pool has a children's area and we can supply inflatable arm bands, if required.

Children often have different dietary requirements so there is an optional alternative menu with food such as pasta, fish fingers, hamburgers, hotdogs and ice-cream.

Children are welcome to go on drives and walks with their parents. There is a short (1hr) drive for the children after breakfast where time will be spent looking at some of the small wonders of the bushveld, as well as the occasional visit to the crocodile farm at Manyeleti Main Camp.

On the day of your departure you may be able to enjoy an early morning game drive, after which you will then continue on to the airport where you will return your hire car and begin your onward journey to Johannesburg.
