Leave Johannesburg for the Kruger National Park between 06h30 and 08h00.

Stop for lunch at one of the quaint towns en-route (at your own expense), before checking in during the afternoon.

Quickly stretch your legs before going on a casual drive with your guide; anxious for a taste of the amazing flora and fauna found in the park.

Arrive back at camp and take some time to unwind while your delicious two-course meal is prepared. Enjoy dinner under the stars while you listen to tales of the African bush, before heading to bed for a well deserved rest.

Start the day with a refreshing cup of coffee and some snacks, while your guide packs the vehicle in preparation for an early morning drive.

This is a great time to spot members of the Big 5, as the bush slowly wakes from its slumber, but plenty of attention will be paid to even the smallest of antelope and most delicate of birds. Stop and enjoy breakfast at a picnic spot during the course of the morning.

Return to camp around midday and spend a couple of hours relaxing while most animals seek shelter from the sun.

Come late afternoon you embark on an exciting afternoon/night drive, providing the opportunity to spot some of the bush's more elusive creatures, including owls, civit, genet and, of course, leopard.

Return to camp and tuck into another fine meal.

Another early game drive is followed by breakfast. You slowly leave the Kruger National Park and head for one of the exclusive private lodges at the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve.

Eat lunch and take a few minutes to freshen up before departing on an afternoon/evening game drive, spanning four hours. Sabi is particularly famous for its spectacular leopard sightings, with many encounters happening just a few feet from the vehicle.

Dinner is served beside a crackling fire under the clear night's sky.

A wake up call signals the start of one last game drive. Breakfast is served afterwards, and you're given time to freshen up and finish packing before leaving for Johannesburg.

A scenic panorama route offers stunning views, passing Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels, Lisbon Waterfalls and Pilgrim's Rest, where you stop for lunch.

Arrive back in Johannesburg at around 19h30 and reflect on a magic 4-day getaway.
