Leaving Johannesburg between 06h30 and 18h00, you head for the Kruger National Park travelling through the Highveld, down the escarpment and through the Lowveld area.

You arrive at Kruger National Park in the afternoon having enjoyed lunch in one of the small towns en-route to the park. Head to Skukuza Camp, where you will settle in before heading on your first game drive.

Accompanied by a professional guide, your first afternoon is spent driving around the park in search of wildlife. The Kruger houses an amazing variety of different flora and fauna, with animals and unspoilt wilderness as far as the eye can see.

Returning to camp in the late afternoon, you have time to take a dip in the pool or stretch your legs and take a light walk while your guide gets to work preparing a delicious meal for you.

Sit back, relax and tuck into a two-course dinner served with wine, while your guide shares stories about their memorable experiences in Africa.

A wake-up call signals the beginning of your second day in the Kruger National Park. Have a cup of coffee and a bite of something to eat while your guide packs the car in preparation for an early morning game drive. This is an ideal time to spot predators before they retreat to the shelter of the bush.

Return to Skukuza camp and sit down to a relaxed breakfast. You then have time for a swim, a visit to the museum or park shop, a siesta, exploring the camp or simply just put your feet up.

Come late afternoon you depart on an exciting sunset/night drive, boasting fantastic scenery and more amazing game viewing opportunities, with the chance to spot some of Africa's most elusive nocturnal animals, such as hyena, genet and leopard.

Return to Skukuza camp ready for another hearty meal, paired with a bottle of fine wine. Revel in the unique sights and sounds of the bush, before retiring to the comfort of your bed, exhausted from the day's activities.

Game drives at the Kruger National Park aren't just about the big five, and a great deal of attention is paid to even the smallest of antelope and most delicate of birds.

Your guide's passion and dedication to Africa will be plain to see, and they will do all they can to make your bush experience as memorable as possible.

Return to Skukuza camp following completion of your morning drive, and spend some time relaxing in preparation for another bush safari. Come evening, your guide will once again treat you to a delicious meal under the stars.

Head off on another morning game drive, providing the opportunity to hopefully spot any animals you may have missed previously.

Upon completion of this drive, you fetch your bags and leave the park, passing the spectacular scenery of Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels and Lisbon Waterfalls, before stopping for lunch en-route.

Arrive back in Johannesburg and return to your hotel, reflecting on a fantastic 4-day getaway.
