The main building of Hlosi Game Lodge overlooks the surrounding grasslands, and you can sit and enjoy watching the game from the veranda. On cold nights, there is a lounge with a cozy fireplace, where you can warm up after an evening game drive.

During the day, you can cool off in the swimming pool, or read a book in the library. There is an elevated hide overlooking a waterhole which provides great game and bird watching opportunities. At night there is a star-gazing platform where you can take in the beauty of the African night sky.

There are a number of activities offered giving you the opportunity to explore the reserve as well as the greater area. Morning and afternoon game drives are offered, as well as guided bush walks and bird watching. You can go canoing down Bushman's River, or go on a day trip to the Alexandria Dune Fields. Historical Tours centered around the 9 Frontier wars are led by an experienced guide as well as a Xhosa chief.

In the evening, you can enjoy being entertained by African tribal dancers while you dine in the open boma.

Hlosi Game Lodge is situated in the Bushman's River Private Game Reserve, just 40 minutes from the Eastern Cape coastal city of Port Elizabeth.

Hlosi Game Lodge offers a variety of dining options. You can enjoying dining al fresco with bush breakfasts, lunches and dinners. You also have the option of dining in the main dining room or open boma, or you can dine in private on your veranda.

Hlosi Game Lodge has 4 individually styled suites, overlooking the grasslands. The suites each have en-suite bathroom facilities with spa baths as well as additional outdoor showers. They each have their own private verandas with great views, and fireplaces for cozy nights.
