Bush Wedding - the old stables on Leeuwenbosch were converted into an intimate and quaint family chapel, and caters for weddings of up to 140 guests with additional accommodation packages available at the other lodges.

This historical colonial manor house built in 1908 is set amid beautiful indigenous gardens. Bill and his wife Rose have been hosting guests since 1992 at Leeuwenbosch. The return to the family home in 1999 by William and Heidi and their children represents the 5th generation of the Fowlds family on Leeuwenbosch.
In 1926 the Fowlds family began wool farming on Leeuwenbosch farm. In 1930 the building, which is today Shearer's Lodge, was erected as a dedicated sheep shearing shed. Sheep farming continued until 1996 when the farm was converted to a game reserve.
This lodge has a small, popular pub as well as an old, huge billiards room, which can also be used as a conference room.
Amakhala Game Reserve offers a range of conference venues, from the formal boardroom setting to the indigenous 'bosberaad' or bush conference experience. The formal conference venue situated on Leeuwenbosch, seats up to 16 delegates. Presentation facilities are available on request.
Adventure programmes and facilities are available on the property adjacent to the reserve and include quad biking, obstacle courses and team building programmes.
