It also adjoins the Spioenkop Nature Reserve which contains white rhino, giraffe, zebra, eland, kudu and numerous smaller antelope.
This lodge has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, giving one the feeling of coming home. Taking its name from Three Tree Hill where General Sir Charles Warren had his headquarters during the battle, the lodge has been constructed using mostly wood and iron so as to resemble the housing kits that were brought out from Britain in the 19th century.
