Baviaanskloof

Baviaanskloof Wilderness Area is about 120 kilometres west of Port Elizabeth. It is a rugged, mountainous area of around 270,000 hectares.

Both camping and B&B accommodation are on offer in the area. Baviaanskloof has numerous hiking and 4x4 trails in its unspoilt mountains and valleys. There is not much in the way of wildlife, but the bird watching in the area is very good.
