The Andros Country House is set in over an acre of park-like gardens in the heart of Claremont, one of Cape Town's peaceful and picturesque southern suburbs. The gracious Cape Dutch homestead dates from the early 1900s and today has been restored to its former glory; furnished in elegant and traditional style, the décor complements the original features of this graceful residence.

Facilities at The Andros include a beautifully secluded pool, shaded by a canopy of trees; there is also the new Spa Wellness Centre with fully equipped gym and sauna, making this idyllic setting the perfect venue for any occasion. The large terrace provides the ideal spot to relax and drift away, or read a book from the library.

Within a short drive from the house you will find yourself at some of Cape Town's prime attractions, such as Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain and the Constantia wine route.

Wining and dining facilities at The Andros Country House include a dining room, providing the perfect setting for a quiet meal after a busy day out and about exploring Cape Town's many attractions. Here, you can savour a variety of three course meals, freshly prepared every day. Alternatively, you could opt for a delicious dinner in The Andros' new restaurant, Dine.

Should you prefer al fresco dining, the patio is perfect for breakfast on warm summer days, with a breakfast buffet offering tropical fruit, a full continental breakfast, as well as a cooked English breakfast. Lunch is also available, be it on the terrace or by the pool, as are morning and afternoon teas.

You can relax with pre-dinner drinks and sundowners in a variety of locations, outside on the terrace, which offers full bar service 24 hours a day, or in the house itself, in the stylish Champagne Room and Drawing Room.

The Andros Country House offers 13 individually and elegantly furnished rooms complete with en suite bathroom, soft linens, fresh flowers and fruit trays, satellite TV, fridge and private patios with stunning mountain views.

4 luxurious rooms, each stylishly furnished, with either garden or mountain views are housed in the original homestead. A further 8 spacious bedrooms, each with a separate entrance and patio, and an Executive Suite with its own pool, are set in The Andros' park-like gardens.
