Explore the historic wine estates of Constantia near Cape Town as well as the other well known Cape Wineland's towns and villages.

Stellenbosch is often referred to as the main town in the Cape Winelands. The centre of much wine production, as well as cheese production, this university town is the second oldest town in South Africa and offers some lovely Cape Winelands accommodation on its oak-lined streets.

Treat yourself to some delicious food in the pretty town of Franschhoek, known as the gourmet capital of South Africa, or walk to the top of the "pearl” of Paarl, a large granite dome that overlooks the Wineland's town.

The town of Riebeek Kasteel and surrounding areas are known not only for their wine but also for their delicious olives.

Don't forget to include wine producing towns like Robertson on the Route 62 and Hermanus near the Hemel and Aarde (Heaven and Earth) Valley on the Whale Coast, in your itinerary.
