Take a stroll down to Robberg Beach and walk along the soft white sand, often glimpsing whales in the distance. In the winter months, you can hear the whales sing, all the way from the beach house.

- Day 8: Get Close to Marine Life

Take a 2-hour Marine Encounters Tour boat trip out into the bay and experience the Plettenberg Bay wildlife up close. Leaving from Central Beach, you will have the opportunity to see bottlenose dolphins, as well as the rare, Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins.
Don't forget to keep your eyes open for the variety of pelagic seabirds, as well as the Cape Fur seal colony.

Discover the many natural attractions in the area. Visit Monkeyland and the delightful Birds of Eden, or venture into the Elephant Sanctuary and walk hand-in-trunk with elephants.
If you are especially brave, why not go bungee jumping from the highest jump in the world. There is also a selection of golf courses, for those who prefer a more relaxing afternoon.
