A short tour of some of the Western Cape's favourite spots. Highlights include the ostrich capital of Oudtshoorn, the Knysna "Heads" and the Tsitsikamma Forest.
- Day 1: Overberg & Oudtshoorn

You leave Cape Town and travel over Sir Lowry's Pass, through Elgin, to Swellendam and its scenic surrounds. Spend the morning exploring this historical town and the Drostdy Museum, before enjoying a light lunch.
In the late afternoon you travel to Oudtshoorn, the largest town in the Little Karoo which is famous for its ostriches, where you will have dinner and overnight.

- Day 2: Oudtshoorn

Enjoy a morning tour of the Cango Caves. These massive, beautiful caves stretch for several miles and are deservedly one of the most popular attractions in the area. You also visit the Cango Wildlife Ranch, the oldest and largest cheetah contact centre worldwide and home to many other exotic animals.
After lunch (not included in cost) you visit Highgate Ostrich farm. Take a tour of the the working farm where you can learn about the ostriches and even ride an ostrich if you are brave enough!

- Day 3: Knysna
- Itinerary
This morning you travel to George, through the magnificent Outeniqua mountains, and then along the coast to Knysna.
Knysna is one of the most popular destinations on the Garden Route and the focus of the town is a beautiful lagoon, bordered by forested hills and guarded by the enormous headlands or "Heads".
Catch the ferry to the pristine 'Featherbed Nature Reserve' on one of the Heads, where you can stroll along the beautiful pathways and have lunch at the scenic look-out point (not included in cost).
In the afternoon, board the John Benn Ferry for a cruise on the Knysna Lagoon.
Tonight's overnight stop is in Knysna or Plettenberg Bay.

- Day 4: Tsitsikamma National Park to Port Elizabeth
- Itinerary
Early morning takes you to the Tsitsikamma National Park. Go on a beautiful coastal walk to Storms River Mouth and take in the spectacular view of the Indian Ocean from the suspension bridge.
Enjoy your last lunch of the tour (not included) at the Tsitsikamma National Park before travelling to Port Elizabeth where your Garden Route Tour ends.
