- Itinerary
Hike up Table Mountain on the Hoerikwagga Trail, with your personal guide. All guides have been selected from previously disadvantaged backgrounds and have received formal training to ensure that anyone under their care will experience a professional and insightful stay on the mountain.
Dealing with tourists takes more than just knowledge about the area and the guides are sent to Theatre of Africa, where they are taught the art of storytelling, which helps them to interact with people from all walks of life.
This set of trails elicits the true spirit of Hoerikwagga, the sea mountain, in a way that tourists are seldom exposed to. The trails were built by 400 previously unemployed and unskilled people from Table Mountain's surrounding communities.
Whichever trail you choose, you will wake up to the fragrant fynbos and unbelievable views, all in the spirit of Hoerikwagga.
