On arrival to Durban Airport you pick up your rental car and make your way to Hartford House, a beautiful old world manor house. This lodge is known for its excellent food, so bring your loose clothing and indulge.
Accommodation is in cottage style rooms and includes a 5-course dinner and a 3-course breakfast. Activities offered at the lodge include horse riding, walks, tennis, spa treatments and trout or bass fishing.

Make your way into the Drakensberg to Cleopatra Farmhouse, which will take you about 1 hour. Cleopatra Mountain Farmhouse is situated in the Drakensberg Mountains, adjoining the Giants Castle Nature Reserve.
Here trout fishing, horse riding, hiking, birding and swimming in clear mountain streams with rock pools are part all of the charm. Exciting cookery courses are also offered.
