What to Pack for the Garden Route

Be prepared for all weather types so even in summer pack warm clothes and weatherproof gear - you don't want a spot of rain to prevent you from exploring this beautiful area, and you do want to be warm when watching a spectacular Garden Route sunset on a yacht out at sea.

Sunblock and a hat are essential in summer and binoculars and cameras a must, particularly for bird-lovers and whale and dolphin-spotters.

While golf clubs can be hired, avid golfers would probably prefer their own when they discover the collection of world-class golf courses in the region.
