Pumba Water Lodge is situated in the Pumba Private Game Reserve, an area with an abundant wildlife and game population. Here, you have the opportunity to spot a variety of large mammals, such as white lion, wild dog, hyena and cheetah, from the custom-made open Landrover.

There are many other activities offered at the lodge. You can choose to have a day of quiet relaxation while you go bass fishing, or have a more active day on horse-back trails, and sand dune excursions.

Alternatively, go on a hike, do some star-gazing with the aid of wireless technology, go on a guided walking safari, birding safari or night safari drive, or why not enjoy a peaceful picnic alongside Cariega Lake or on the beach at Kenton-on Sea. Pumba Water Lodge comprises 12 stone-walled, thatched waterfront chalets. Each has its own unique view of the lake and a private deck, with plunge pool and outdoor shower. The chalets are all equipped with en suite bathroom facilities and lounge fireplaces.

The bedrooms and bathrooms offer underfloor heating, heated towel rails, free-standing bathtubs, double basins, terry-towel bathrobes and beautiful appointments to create an aura of luxurious and pampered indulgence.
