Set in an indigenous garden within the Greater Kruger National Park, Kapama Buffalo Camp, with its thatched bar, dining room and campfire area, is intimate and private. At night, lanterns glow under a tree canopy adding a romantic touch to the setting.

Respite from the heat of the African sun is offered by the camp's refreshing swimming pool, or the day's adventures may be shared in the cool open-air bar with its spectacular views of the river bed.

Since Kapama Buffalo Camp accommodates only 16 guests, special attention is given to personalised service. With the guidance of knowledgeable game rangers and its unrivalled comfort, Kapama Buffalo Camp is a truly authentic way to experience the African bush.

Kapama Buffalo Camp is situated in the Kapama Private Game Reserve, in the Greater Kruger National Park, South Africa.

Kapama Buffalo Camp serves gourmet meals, infused with an African flavour in the main dining room, which is in the boma around a crackling fire under a starry sky.

Full English breakfasts, light lunches and 3-course dinners are also offered. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated.

Bush braais (barbeques) and champagne picnics can also be arranged.

Kapama Buffalo Camp has 8 luxury canvas tents, each sleeping 2 guests.

These are are set on stilts in the upper reaches of tall trees. Each tent has a private bathroom and is interconnected with other tents by wooden walkways high above a sandy river bed. Hot water is provided by an ingenious and effective African boiler.
