Explore Cape Town's cultural history and the Cape Floral Kingdom on this 3 day hiking tour. Beginning in the V&A Waterfront, you will have the opportunity to experience Cape Town's vibrant city centre, as well as its beautiful vegetation and natural wonders.
- Day 1: A Cultural Exploration
- Itinerary
After departing from the Nelson Mandela Gateway in the V&A Waterfront, you will be led on a historical tour around Cape Town, on boat and on foot. The day ends at the Platteklip Wash Houses, where you can enjoy a Cape Malay meal and an evening of comfort and relaxation.
- Day 2: Going Up Table Mountain
- Itinerary
After a continental breakfast at the Wash House, you will hike to the lower cable car station and catch the cable car up Table Mountain, provided the weather is good. At the top, you will hike to Maclear's Beacon for a picnic lunch. In rainy, misty or windy weather, the cable way is closed and alternative scenic routes will be taken.You will make your way to Overseers Cottage where you will spend the night. Spend the evening around the fire as you enjoy a traditional South African barbeque.
- Day 3: Winding Down to Kirstenbosch
