Kapama Private Game Reserve
Kruger National Park
The Kapama Private Game Reserve is situated west of Kruger National Park and next to the Timbavati Game Reserve.
There are very few fences between all the areas, and all the African animals of the bush wander freely. It is an area of summer rainfall (November - February) welcomed by everyone in this hot, dry lowveld area. Winter brings bright days with cold nights, and is good for game viewing as the bush is less dense.
The Kapama reserve is easily accessible from Hoedspruit airport, which is very close by. There are direct flights from Johannesburg. Some excellent lodges are found here.
