This morning you'll depart Johannesburg with your experienced guide and travel into the scenic province of Mpumalanga. This 5 and a half hour journey takes you through amazing scenery: mountains, rivers, valleys, forests and spectacular winding passes.

You'll arrive at the Protea Hotel Kruger Gate in the late afternoon, and after checking in, you'll head out on your first open vehicle game drive in the park.

Kruger is an incredible wilderness - the almost 2 million hectares is home to thousands of animals, birds, reptiles and even fish. After your first game drive you'll return to your hotel for dinner.

After breakfast, you'll head out on a full day safari into the Kruger National Park, starting early in the morning when the animals are at their most active.

You'll cover as much area as possible in order to maximize your time out in the park, while stops are included at the various lookout points and heritage sites, from bushman rock paintings to outstanding archaeological sites.

Enjoy a packed lunch in the park, before returning to the hotel in the early evening in time for dinner at the hotel.

Leave the Kruger behind today as you enjoy one final breakfast and depart the park via the spectacular Panorama Route. You'll enjoy a few scenic stops at God's Window, which overlooks the Three Rondawels and the green lowveld.

Further along the route, you'll stop at one of the lookouts for the Blyde River Canyon gorge, which starts at the fascinating Bourke's Luck Potholes - a collection of strange rock formations that attract visitors year on year.

Arrive in Johannesburg in the late afternoon where you'll be dropped off at either your Johannesburg hotel or OR Tambo International Airport.
