Park Admission Hours

  • January to February: 5:30am - 6:30pm
  • March: 5:30am - 6:00pm
  • April: 6:00am - 6:00pm
  • May to July: 6:00am - 5:30pm
  • August to September: 6:00am - 6:00pm
  • October 5:30am - 6:00pm
  • November to December: 5:30am - 6: 30pm

Gates at Kruger rest camps follow the same hours as the Kruger Park entrance gates, except for during the South African summer months (November through January) when the rest camps open an hour earlier than the Kruger's park gates. The rest camps' operating hours are from 8:00am to 5:30pm.

Fuel

Every rest camp has a fuel station (payment must be in cash or with a petrol card).

Money

The South African Rand, major credit cards, and traveller's checks are accepted.

Banks/ATMs

Currently available at Skukuza Rest Camp in the Southern Kruger, banks and ATMs will soon also be accessible in a few other locations around the park.
