Travel Tips for the Kruger National Park
The Kruger National Park offers wonderfully varied options to suit just about every taste. As it is a year-round destination, it's best to know what weather and climate each season offers before deciding on when to go as this will determine the type of experience you will have.

Park Admission Hours
January to February: 5:30am - 6:30pm
March: 5:30am - 6:00pm
April: 6:00am - 6:00pm
May to July: 6:00am - 5:30pm
August to September: 6:00am - 6:00pm
October: 5:30am - 6:00pm
November to December: 5:30am - 6: 30pm
Gates at Kruger rest camps follow the same hours as the Kruger Park entrance gates, except for during the South African summer months (November through January) when the rest camps open an hour earlier than the Kruger's park gates. The rest camps' operating hours are from 8:00am to 5:30pm.
