Camp Shonga is situated in a secluded section of a 15 000ha private concession of the Kruger National Park. The camp's raised position, on the foothills of the Lebombo Mountains, allows for great views over the African bushveld. Because it is unfenced, herds of elephant and other wildlife frequently wander close by.

The central facility consists of a charming lounge area including a library and both indoor and outdoor dining areas. There is a spacious wooden deck on which to sip drinks, and a splash pool makes for cool relief between safari activities. Tents are connected by long wooden walkways.

Located in 'Big Five' terrain, the ethos behind Camp Shonga is for the guides to share their vast knowledge of varying eco-systems with you, thereby ensuring an all-round safari experience.

A satellite camp belonging to Shishangeni Lodge, Camp Shonga is situated in private concession in the south-eastern section of the world-renowned Kruger National Park, in South Africa.

Camp Shonga can accommodate 10 guests in 5 spacious, thatched tents. Each tent is luxuriously equipped with en suite bathrooms and ball and claw baths, an outside shower, ceiling fans, mini-bar, fireplace and private game-viewing deck with recliner chairs and umbrellas.
