Chapungu Luxury Tented Camp offers a blend of exclusivity and adventure. The surrounding bushveld is teeming with wildlife and is home to 147 mammal species and an incredible 507 bird species.

Chapungu is a small, thatched lodge with wide, cool verandas. There is a distinct old-world colonial charm to Chapungu. The whole camp holds a maximum of 16 guests, so you can be assured of a laid back atmosphere and individual attention.

Daily activities include morning and afternoon game drives full of 'Big Five' sightings, bush walks and bird watching. Wherever possible safaris are tailored to suit your specific needs and interests.

Chapungu has a spa, rock pool and curio shop. Between safaris there is plenty of time for you to relax with a deep body exfoliating massage by one of the lodge's Guerlain-trained therapists.

Breakfast at Chapungu Luxury Tented Camp comprises a buffet spread of fruit and cereals, with fried English breakfasts made to order. Afternoon tea includes tasty treats, and dinner is served either around the fire in the boma or in the dining room.

In the evening you can select a bottle from Chapungu's stock of fine wines to compliment your 5-course dinner, before retiring to the lounge for a nightcap.

Chapungu Camp has 8 luxury tents that overlook a granite pool set amongst magnificent trees. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom, shower and outdoor bathtub.
