Overland - Camping

A 4-day overland tour to the Kruger National Park, with a choice of camping or accommodation.

This overland adventure takes you through the scenic Mpumalanga Province, where you'll stop to admire spectacular scenery along the way.

The trip carries on to the world-renowned Kruger National Park, for a few days of exciting game viewing, educational game drives and camping under the stars.

After 3 days in the Kruger, you head back to Johannesburg.

Day 1: Take the Panorama Route
- Itinerary
  Leaving Johannesburg behind, you head through Mpumalanga; enjoying some breathtaking vistas of the Lowveld along the way. The geological spectacles of Blyde River Canyon, God's Window and Bourke's Luck Potholes will be some of today's highlights.
  You spend the evening just outside of the Kruger National Park.

Day 2: Explore the Kruger National Park
- Itinerary
  Get up early and head off on a morning game walk before entering Kruger. The next 2 days are spent exploring the southern part of this vast reserve and you stand a good chance of sighting elephant, lion, rhino, leopard and buffalo - Africa's famed 'Big 5'.

Day 3: Continue Your Search for the Big 5
- Itinerary
  Your game drives continue and an early start rewards you with some great sightings. Keep your eyes open for the diverse birdlife and the more elusive animals.
  Tonight you stay in another delightful rest camp. Optional activities include a night game drive.

Day 4: Get a Taste of Local Culture
- Itinerary
  You complete your Kruger Park experience with an early morning game drive before heading back towards Gauteng through the subtropical Lowveld, providing some superb views.
  Along the way you stop at a cultural village, providing the chance to experience some local culture and buy crafts and curios. Your tour ends upon arrival in Johannesburg.
